Otaku is a scorning word. That's why Japanese "otakus" doesn't use that words one themselves cuz it's used by other people to mock them and look down on them.

well- I think there were two kinds of OTAKU--

OTAKU who act like-all-know-things

and OTAKU-- just ur regular OTAKU

I dislike otaku but I am an otaku-- probably

I started from what i call, a poor Otaku. wanna go nuts but can't. i dont think Otaku's a limited to just anime and manga. games play a large part too. also really badass movies. i think everyone has a bit of Otaku in them about something. so im 23 billion% Otaku but just to appear sane i limited myself to 50%-100% lol
